Production of micro rubber powder from end-of-life tyres and rubber residues

The INTEC RC 500/05 Tyre Recycling and Rubber Powder Processing System was created to recover materials from end-of-life tires and rubber residues, offering an eco-friendly alternative to unfavorable incineration practices. For INTEC, these residues represent not just an environmental challenge but also a valuable resource with significant potential.

The micro rubber powder generated can be employed either as an aggregate in rubber blends or for creating elastomeric alloys possessing properties akin to thermoplastic elastomers (TPE).

Extensive and ongoing research, coupled with the establishment of multiple plant iterations, culminated in the creation of the INTEC RC 500/05. This system produces ultra-fine and exceptionally pure rubber powders.

The methods for additional processing of the generated rubber powder have been devised to enable further utilization with standard industrial equipment. The INTEC RC 500/05’s production and treatment facilities are designed with modularity and redundancy, ensuring uninterrupted operation even during maintenance and repair tasks. Collaborating with German universities, INTEC is engaged in the development of both novel and established compounds.
